Surf
and Ye Shall Find
Have you been seeking and not finding? What if someone made a promise to you
that there is more? What if someone made a promise that if you will seek you
will find? Would you be interested?
Jesus made this promise:
“Ask and it will be given to you;
seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For
everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who
knocks, the door will be opened.
Which of you, if his son asks for bread, will give him a stone? Or if he asks
for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how
to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven
give good gifts to those who ask him!”
Matt 7:7-1 (NIV)
Could it be that God has desired a
relationship that is deeper and more fulfilling than anything we could dream or
imagine? Could it be that man has placed his own limitations on this
relationship and God wants so much more? Could it be this is why so many of us
feel unfulfilled? Could it be that God desires to have a personal encounter
with each of us?

At The Salvage Yard, we believe there is not only more but that God, Jesus, and
the Holy Spirit desire to have a personal encounter with you! What if we were able to reassure you
that Jesus still wants to fulfill the promise that if we seek we will find? Would you be interested? Would
you give Jesus a chance? Would you join us as we seek Jesus in the ways
He wants to be sought?
Would you be interested if we GUARANTEED that if you will seek you will
find? Would you be interested in finding out what good gifts our Father in
heaven has for you? If you are, we welcome you to The Salvage Yard with open arms asking that
you come join us to seek and to find God, as God intended all along. What might I find if we sought the Lord? What might you
find if we sought the Lord? What might we find if we sought the Lord together?
Won’t you pray this prayer with us:
Father in Heaven, we come to your
throne. We come hungry and thirsty to see You. We have been disappointed as we
have sought You in our ways and not always found You. Yet we know your Son
Jesus Christ told us to: "Ask and it shall be given unto
you; Seek and Ye Shall Find". Your Son also said, that it was better that
He go away so that He could send us the Holy Spirit, to be our counselor, our
teacher.
We come expecting, we come believing. We are asking You to have the Holy Spirit
help us to seek You as You want to be sought out…, to help us to find You, as
you want to be found. Lord we ask not that you tell us what we want to
hear, but what we need to hear. We put our hand in the hand of the Holy Spirit and ask
that You have him lead us to You. We place our trust in You and ask that You
would direct our paths as we seek Your face.
We Thank-you that You will meet us as we seek you and thank you for your
fulfillment of this promise.
In Jesus Christ Name we Pray. Amen.
