The following is a poem that one of the people attending the event wrote:

 

Cross Grind

As the half pipe got chewed up
By dudes on their decks
I looked up to God and said:
“Hey what the heck?”

“All of these people,
And all of this food...
Now everyone knows
That you’re a cool dude!"

So it doesn’t matter,
I don’t even care.
How people come to God.
Why anyone dares...
 

As long as they come in,
If broken and bent,
And scream: “Jesus, I love you!
For me you were sent."
